St Regis Hotel

“ This is a first class hotel with excellent service. All staff so friendly and accomodating. Reception staff so informative and knowledgable on the area and of all amenities on offer. We had great guidance from all staff. Added extra's..... great choice for all inclusive breakfast, free international calls, free pass to gym ,steam bath and relaxation room in a newly built complex one block away. Maid service excellent ,beds made to perfection, free bottled water, tea and coffee facilities and fresh towels and bathrobes supplied in room daily. Bar and restuarant in hotel .Good choices of snacks,dinner and drinks at reasonable prices. Free internet, two computers and printer in private room for your convenience. All in all a great hotel within a bustling area with lots of shops and restuarants nearby.... walking distance. The only thing that we found negative was the cost for the car park fees,quite pricey 39 dollars overnight in hotel, a cheaper rate on Howe street 25 dollars a night and 6 dollars at weekends, so better value there.. Apart from that , highly reccomend this hotel, you will not be dissappointed.

“ Top Tip: If you have a car there are some great days out to be had not too far away. Stanley Park ,Capilano suspension bridge park which is real fun and has the most amazing views. Deep cove is worth a visit which is also quite close by ,stop and have a snack in HONEYS ,lovely doughnuts. Granville Island is a good place to visit, interesting shops and market where you can board a boat across the harbour. We drove to Whistler, skiing resort which is about two hours drive but defininetly worth seeing, nice bars ,shops and restuarants plus great scenery with the snow and mountains.

“ Beautiful rooms - very clean, modern and stylish. Those at the front of the hotel can be quite noisy though with traffic and nightlife. We moved to the back of the hotel after the first night and it was much better - and the room was even nicer than the one at the front. Good selection for breakfast.

“ Top Tip: If you're heading to Vancouver Island it's well worth taking the sea plane rather than the bus/ferry.

“ Very cool and modern. Room had a wow factor. Excellent service/reception and breakfast. Good bar/restaurant attached.
Good position. Our room on the first floor, however was quite noisy at night due to central location/road.

“ Top Tip: Ask for a quiet room. Our room on the first floor was a little noisy (street noise) due to it's central location. I am sure not all rooms would be like that.
