“ The Estoril Hotel is ideally situated and is run by friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and have been recently decorated in the bright Cape Verde style. The breakfasts were delicious with fruit, yoghurts and cake as well as cereal and rolls with ham and cheese. The restaurant/bar provides barbecue, pizza and a varied menu. The hotel is ideally located for the Estoril beach and a very short walk to the main square in Sal Rei. We had an excellent 4 night stay in December 2011 and we will be booking again next time we are on Boa Vista.
“ Top Tip: There is an excellent Italian restaurant, Restaurante Louisa, opposite the Estoril Hotel as well as a great Pastelaria. We enjoyed the ice creams from the kiosk in Sal Rei square and the food was excellent in the cafe/bar on the pier.

“ This was a little heaven. Estoril beach hotel is situated right next to the beach and its so beautiful. we stayed in an apartment for 2 days but we liked it so much that we extended our stay with 5 more nights. Its quiet ideal because its close to the little town center and the beach. Carlo the site site manager is so friendly everything we asked for , he went out of his way to try the best. We actually didnt expect more because Boa vista is still developing so we managed to compromise some of the things. Our apartment was spotlessly clean almost every day thanks to the lovely house keeping ladies. In the restaurant there was Gezwin, the supervisor she was so helpful and had an eye on everything. We absolutely enjoyed our holiday!!!
“ Top Tip: Hire a taxi and go to see the santa monica beach, this will absolutely blow you away! But you cant swim here because the currents are so high and strong!!! Practice your Italiano and Portuguese before going there. This is not an English speaking island. Not much night life though and a choice of good restaurant is limited. BUT you will absolutely fall in love with the landscape and the weather.
