Really lovely hotel - very quiet pool area - great for relaxing.
Literally 5 minutes walk from the beach - which is just like being in the Carribean with white sand and a beautiful turquoise sea. Also, great for watching the kite surfers strut their stuff.
The breakfast was varied and plentiful - similar to what you would expect at a Hilton. Bedrooms were clean and large with a mini bar and air conditioning. We had a ground floor room which was a 10 second stroll to the pool area or we could sit on our deckchairs on our covered porch if we wanted sime respite from the sun. The rooms on the first floor had a private balcony with their own personal sun loungers.
Only thing that stopped me giving the hotel was the plastic covers on the mattress but we DID get a proper double bed (none of this silly Mediterranean lark with two singles pushed together so hubby always ends up in the gap between!)
It's a 15 min walk into Santa Maria and all the restaurants, but you can take the scenic route along the boardwalk along the beach.
Highly recommended - only other thing worth noting is that there weren't many English people staying at this hotel - predominantly German and French but to be honest, we saw this as a positive : )

“ The hotel is lovely however they are building a road outside and the 9am JCB wake up call wasn't fully appreciated although it will be fine once all the building work has been completed which looks like some time.

Clean and good size swimming pool
Very friendly and helpfull staff
Calm hotel with soft music on the background - very relaxing
Hotel was walking distance from beach and town (restaurants)
Good breakfast (try pancake !)
For lunch go for the snack menu (cheaper and still very tasty)

Top Tip:
It is a 20 minutes walk or a 2-3 Euro with taxi but if you are in Sal go at least once to the Restaurant Oguo D'Arja (or somthing like this), every local knows it it is the best place to eat.
Otherwise walk on the beach on the west coast and visit the beach bar (excellent for lunch, snacks and drinks - be carefull they close at 5pm!)

Very good food. Attentive staff. Swimming pool. Rooms pleasant and cleaned well.
The coffee appeared to be decaffeinated which took us by surprise!
“ Top Tip: It's a kilometre out of town, and in the middle acres of ground thats been cleared for building. Not an attractive location. However, only 3 mins walk from beach and sea to die for. Bailey's english owned bar, 200 yards down the road, does good caffeinated coffee.
