“ If you need to stay in Shenzhen, you could do a lot worse than the Shangri-La! It is very handy for the border to HK - just across the road! The hotel was very nice and clean, good restaurants/bars. Good sized room, although not as big as I was expecting. Very friendly and attentive staff too. The only downside was Shenzhen itself! Also, the numerous people outside the hotel trying to lure you to brothels.
