Decent Hotel a bit tired in places. Right next to the beach. Staff friendly and helpful

Top Tip: local guy (fat guy with ozzie twang to his English) selling trips from just along the front was most knowledgeable and cheap.

The hotel could not be better situated, with outstanding views accross the water to Dubrovnik(10miles by road approx). The public rooms and gardens were kept clean and tidy. Our bedroom was small but adequate if, a little noisey from some extractor fan below. Our stay coinsided with the heatwave accross parts of europe and the uk. Suprising then that the airconditioning in the public rooms had been switched off! This resulted in the room being unbearably hot particularly so in the evenings. The outdoor balcony with it's fantastic views accross the sea were only available to the many smokers in the hotel. My wife complained to the manager about the lack of airconditioning, only to be met with a shrug of the shoulders. Not to be put off, she waylaid a suited gent who was obviously a general manager(there are two other group hotels within half a mile), who assured her that it would be on the next day. It's a good job we didn't hold our breath, it still wasn't on when we left three days later.
Food was ok for this class of hotel, we never had a problem with finding something to eat. And with it's large outside eating area(just about possible to avoid the smokers), alfresco dining was one of the positives. Cavtat itself, a pleasant walk of about a mile, is beautiful and a must visit place.

Top Tip: Cavtat is a must see.

Not a bad hotel for the price when compared with others. The pool is rather small for the number of guests and trying to get a beach bed was almost impossibe unless you were prepared to get up very early. The food was not our cup of tea, a little bland for us but the sweets are okay as was the salad, you wouldnt starve but I would say anyone who appreciates good food would be very disappointed. The service in the restaurant was not well organised as plates, cutlery and glasses and cups and saucers regularly ran out. The town of Cavtat is probably one of the prettiest places in Europe we have been too with great bars restaurants to suit every pocket and I would not recommend anyone to go half board, full or certainly not all inclusive as they will miss so much. We saw very few people in the town who were all inclusive! This hotel is very clean and the room maids deserve praise as they are superb.

Top Tip: The coves in cavtat are superb, much better than around the pool, that is if you can get a bed! You will have to pay but well worth it. Lots of cheaper little cafes and bars going into Cavtat from the hotel but if you want something a little classier there are plenty in the town along with great ice cream. The mauseleum is well woth the walk and very interesting. We really enjoyed people watching and seeing the yachts in the harbour.

large hotel with pool and near beech. very clean. staff friendly, polite and helpful. Food plentiful but not gourmet !! Only one bar for a very large hotel which was fine in october but not sure how busy it would be in the summer. beautiful setting Cavtat is a charming fishing village. Views from hotel breathtaking. Lots of lovely fish restaurants. Dubrovnik about 30 mins away. Seeing from above at night is truly spectacular. The walled city is a must and so clean. Well wortha visit . I am hoping to return again year, for a relaxing peaceful break with lovely scenery and good food.
