“ Location is a bus ride out of Old Town Dubrovnik and no beaches to speak of - just shingle and rocks. Hotel is beautiful, grounds pools and public areas also bedrooms and staff very helpful and polite. Food is not five star though - being buffet it is probably cooked early then left sitting so unfortunately what probably is good ingredients ends up rather dried and inedible. Breakfasts were good so best to go B&B and just catch the bus into Dubrovnik every night to eat.
“ Top Tip: Lots of lovely walks along the coastline both directions from hotel - a diving centre a short distance to the right is worth seeing - and the sunsets are worth a photo or two but not nearly as spectacular as we witnessed further north in Zadar a few years ago.

We had a beautiful room with wonderful views - very large with a very large bathroom with full bath plus shower.
The staff could not have been more helpful - nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
“ Top Tip: A lovely walk along a coastal path to the nearby village with lots of bars & restaurants and a supermarket.

The hotel is 4* and not 5* as claimed. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very romantic and is more suitable for couples. There are too many steps to the rocky beach. However there is a swimming pool close to the lobby (the hotel has 3 swimming pools).
We did not have a king size bed as per our original request and despite sending a direct private mail to the hotel 3 weeks prior to our arrival. Our room was not cleaned the 2nd day we were in the hotel - reasons given were because we did not vacate the room until 3.30 (We left the room at 9.15 am for breakfast, returned at 10.45 and occupied it until 3.30 pm as we were getting ready for a function). Breakfast was buffet and average. Dinner at Zoe Restaurant was also average. However, lunch was not nice at all. We stayed for 5 days and overall, we did have a good time in Dubrovnik.
“ Top Tip: No 6 bus stops very close to the hotel and is very frequent which will take you to the Old Town ( amazing place) where the buzz is. Journey time could be 10-15 mins and costs 10 KN if you buy the ticket from the hotel. There is a very pleasant coastal path from the hotel to the town of Lapad where there are restaurants and a pebble beach - suitable for all.
