“ I stayed at the Komodor Hotel for 7 nights on half board, I paid £200 for the week in a double room for single occupancy, I thought it was terrific value, good location, right on the beach and only 10 mins into Dubrovnik by bus.
“ Top Tip: If travelling back to the airport by bus, you need to catch it from the main bus station, not outside the pile gate where the bus drops you off.

“ Good value for 3 star. Worth paying for sea view - fabulous sunsets. Hotel and pool area very clean. Bed large and comfortable. Food (buffet) plentiful but a bit monotonous after a few days. Staff friendly and helpful. Bus stop about 100 yards from hotel and frequent service to Dubrovnik Old Town.
“
Top Tip:
If you are there for a week it is worth buying the Dubrovnik Weekly Card for 220 kuna. This includes 20 bus rides and entrance to 8 attractions including the city walls and Rector's Palace. It is also worth taking the cable car to Srd for panoramic views of the city and coast. Day trips to the offshore islands are enjoyable.
There are lots of great restaurants in the old town but for simple reasonably priced fish go to the old port area.
