“ This was a great holiday. The location is beautiful: staying on your own small island while only 15 mins boat ride (complimentary for hotel guests) from the lovely town of Rovinj. The facilities are great especially for families with children: 5 pools including an indoor pool, gym, spa, outdoor play park, indoor play area and a children's club. It's a fairly large hotel but you rarely feel crowded, perhaps on the odd occasion the restaurant can be busy and it is one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. We found the staff helpful, friendly and they spoke excellent English even though I speak Croatian. The hotel is on the beach, which is shingly, and in places it helps to have aqua shoes or jelly shoes - aqua shoes can be bought in the hotel shop very reasonably. Drinks are pricey as you would expect in a hotel but they are free with your meals and you can always buy in a supermarket in Rovinj.
“ Top Tip: The best beaches are probably on Red Island itself although if you hire a car I believe there are some better beaches out of Rovinj (ie on the mainland).

“ HOTEL IS SUPERB, ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD IF THERE HAD BEEN AN ADULTS ONLY POOL - 4 POOLS ALL OVERRUN BY CHILDREN MEANS IF YOU ARE A COUPLE YOU HAVE TO HEAD FOR THE BEACH OR HOLIDAY OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
