“ The hotel was very clean and well decorated throughout. It has recently been refurbished in a very tasteful way. There was a realaxed atmosphere within the hotel, with all the staff keen to assist wherever they can and this was done in a friendly and cheerful manor. The only reason the I have not given a ten score is that it was noisey at the front of the hotel early in the morning. This does not have to be a problem thjough as there is very good air conditioning in the room

“ We found this an excellent hotel for our end of season break. The location was close to a good choice of bars and restaurants and the harbour, and the beaches were a short walk away. The en-suite room was a good size, very clean and serviced each day. Good choice of continental breakfast each day taken on the terrace at the front of the hotel. The staff without exception were very helpful and informative and communication was no problem due to their fluency in English.

Top Tip:
We found Karlo restaurant a good choice for a reasonably priced evening meal, this is very close to the hotel. A short walk in the direction of Promajna is the larger Viento restaurant set on the edge of the beach where you can enjoy a meal and watch the sun set while listening to the surf breaking on the shingle.
We used the beaches in the direction of Brela which at the time of our visit were quiet, but we understand can be very busy in high season. All beaches are fine gravel or shingle with wonderfully clean clear water, but scuba shoes are useful for any rocky areas. Berulia Travel (opposite the back of the Berulia Hotel) was helpful in advising on trips and arranging car hire.
