“ Fabulous hotel - the best in Havana. Excellent location. I stayed in the new building and the bedroom was totally luxurious, and very quiet. Double doors to the corridors so you can't hear any noise from the corridors - or from other rooms. Two lovely roof top pools with amazing views of Havana. I ate by the pools, also in the lobby bar several times - and the food was fantastic; excellent quality and reasonably priced. Great live music in the lobby bar creating lovely atmosphere. I wanted to stay on an extra 3 nights, but unfortunately the hotel was full, so I had to move to the Saratoga - similar price range but not nearly as good (really noisy there and food not as good). I also checked out several other hotels but the Parque Central really has to be the best!!

Booked hotel for character we were put in a modern annex under ground walk way. Not what we wanted.
Restraurant for breakfast like a cafeteria.
Room smelled, coming from the drains.

This hotel was right in the centre for all the sights, the hotel was very clean and had everything you needed, the only downside is that for a 5 star hotel it did not have any tea/coffee facilities in the room.
We were overcharged in the bar but by the time we realised it was too late to complain!
The hotel staff were very helpful and the Concierge was very informative.
We were there for 3 nights and would definitely stay there again.
