“ A welcoming and friendly hotel, room and communal areas were clean and comfortable with a real authentic cuban feel to the decor. There is daily perfromances by local dancers and musicians at lunch and evening meal times in the courtyard restaurant which further adds to the ambience of the hotel. There was a wide selection if not ecclectic mix of food at breakfast from cereal, fruit (fresh and occassionally tined), yoghurt, pancakes, cakes and pastries, cheese, ham sauasages, rice and eggs - cooked however you like! Breakfast is 7 - 10 but would suggest you don't leave it til the last momment and also had to ask for cereal bowl on all but two of the seven days we were there.
The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Habana Vieja and Centro Habana and all the sites and experiences this area has to offer.

“ Top Tip: Top tip for a nearby restaurant would be 'Al Medina' tucked into a gorgeous patio off Calle Oficios. The staff are friendly and the arabian style food is not only good to eat but really good value - loved the lamb cous cous and the massive veggie platter!
Would also recomend (especially for fellow chocolate lovers) a visit and of course sample of the offerings at 'Museo del Chocolate' - hot chocolate to die for!

“ Good, clean hotel for the price, by Havana standards. £54 per room for 2, per night, including breakfast.
Rooms on the top floor have higher ceilings and some have a small balcony overlooking the street.
Try the hotel house paella (15 CUCs per person), cheapest wine (18 CUCs per bottle).

“ Top Tip: 5 mins from the river front and try the cafes for cheap beer and food.
Tropicana Show is expensive but probably a "must see" for Havana. The travel agent in the square (left out of hotel) gave discount on tickets.
