Montehabana Hotel

“ Hotel and staff were fine. Was attached to more expensive hotel so could use their facilities such as pool and restaurant.

Was a long way out but not a real problems as the tourist but was very regular taking you to central area. Area was nice to walk around also

“ I was booked in the Montehabana Apart/Hotel; thus i had an appartement.

The the floors of the appatment have not been cleaned before and during my occupency; they were dusty and full of long hair of different colours.

During my stay there; the nights were a bit cold and one particular day was cold. However there was no means of heating and the air conditioning is situated only in the bedroom and dies not seem to warm up.

The rocky coast within walking distance and would be good for swimming if the suage did not discharge visibly in the ocean.

The food in the Occedental Maremar, where is was having my inclusive breakfast, for of very low standard--some of the fruits tasted stale, the pasteries were tasteless (the lowest quality in Lidl's or Aldi's taste much better) and the coffee has no taste, so much for a county that grows coffee. The salt shakers do not work because they put thick-cristaled salt in them.

“ Top Tip: There are restaurants, but the food is tasteless, the prices as high as London and cubans do not pay as much respect to helth and safety and food hygiene as we do in the EU. Havana has few restaurents, but they are very expensive for the poor quality of the food and the services they present. One has to be warned that everything in cuba is desined to milk the tourists in exchange for very little.
