“ After being accused of lying about my reservation (though I had all the emails) for 24 hours and having my passport confiscated, they finally sorted it out. Well, I sorted it out at a cost of £14:90 in mobile phone calls to Travel Republic. Having resolved the matter there was no apology at all. The staff were rude, lazy and not customer focused at all. It is the worst break I have EVER had and quite where Travel Republic get the 3* rating is beyond me. The rooms were dirty, staff ill mannered, food poor and their idea of a cocktail is rum and cheap cola, with only a choice of beer, cheap wine, dark rum and coke or white rum and coke on the all inclusive deal. Complete waste of time and money. I think maybe the minus symbol was missed from the hotel rating!!!

“ Fabulous hotel - the best in Havana. Excellent location. I stayed in the new building and the bedroom was totally luxurious, and very quiet. Double doors to the corridors so you can't hear any noise from the corridors - or from other rooms.

The magnificent Hotel Deauville is located on the popular Malecon of Havana, a mere five minutes from the old town which emanates a traditional Cuban vibe. On the top floors of the hotel, you can behold gorgeous city views from the pool. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, two bars as well as a disco. This property is perfect for couples and families alike, and is only 20 km from the beach and 15 km from the airport.
“ A generally dirty hotel. Urine stains on the "cleaned" toilet and dirty sheets. Consider to take out of your portfolio.

The beach hotel is the perfect location for all those over 14 years. It comprises a total of 240 rooms spread across several two-storey buildings in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a safe, and a currency exchange facility. Also on offer is a nightclub, a games room, a restaurant, conference facilities, a public Internet connection (charges apply), room service, laundry service (charges apply), and bicycle hire. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground, and there is parking available for those arriving by car. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, one king-size or two standard beds, centrally regulated air conditioning, satellite TV, a radio, a CD player, a direct dial telephone, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, and either a balcony or terrace. Furthermore, the rooms feature sea views and a small fridge.
“ Excellent situation very near the beach, in lush surroundings. Rooms beautifully spacious and clean. Lots of choice for dining, food good and plentiful. Staff very helpful with many organised activities, all the activities were free. Very well run hotel. Snorkling amazing.
