I really can't fault this hotel.....the old term "you get what you pay for", well at the San Remo I feel you get much more.
It is an old hotel and quite dated. But has been freshly painted and is kept lovely and clean. The breakfast is basic but sufficient, cereals, toast, cold meats, cheese etc. If you want a full English then you are only a 2 minute walk from the seafront and "Michael's Sea View" which does a good full English.
The staff in the San Remo could not be more helpful and friendly. Nothing at all was too much trouble for them.
Just as a side note, you can also arrange car hire through the hotel at very reasonable rates and they can book taxis for you (although there is a taxi office right next door) The taxi cost to/from the airport is around 15 EURO.
The hotel is in the MacKenzie area which is a bit shabby in parts, but you are 2 minutes walk to the seafront and plenty of eateries and bars, and because it is not the main tourist area the prices are better than on the main Phinikoudes beach front.
We are looking forward to returning to the San Remo later in the year.

“ Although booked half board,you had to go to sister hotel a 15 minute walk for evening meal.Had we known this we would have booked a different hotel .Staff were very polite and helpful.Breakfast was the same every day more for the continentals,hotel could do with modernising.
“ Top Tip: Lots of lovely restaurants along waterfront,travel was easy as local and inter city coaches were readily available.

The Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is basic but adaquate. I would only recommend booking hotel bed and breakfast. I booked half board only to be told evening meal was at a sister hotel which was over half a mile away, tried it once, not worth it. Ate out at restaurants rest of week. Long way to walk in wrong direction in relation to town for a meal which was not worth it.
If I had been infirmed prior to booking that meal was at different hotel would not have booked.
