“ Great clean basic rooms and decent breakfast. Right opposite the beach so position cannot be beaten. Ask for a side room if you mind the noise of bars and restaurants which can be a problem at the front.
“ Top Tip: Great kebabs from Poseidon cFe - take them to eat on the beach.

The standard of the hotel was excellent for a 2*. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The location and views were 101%. You are in the middle of everything, pubs, clubs, restaurants, shops, promenade, beach. The staff were all very helpful.
Minus points: We had to fight for the seaview room we had booked and paid for, their excuses were that somewhere in the small print "all requests were not guaranteed". Be aware and get your request confirmed in print !
We stayed in November and it was just the Saturday night that the revellers kept us awake half the night. What its like in the high season, who knows !

If you like expensive yuppie food in miniscule portions - go to Hobos !
We found prices in Cyprus even in November very expensive, probably dearer than the UK.

“ It was good, but the receptionist were not very friendly, the rooms were very cold, expecially the dinner area. The breakfast menu can be change not same breakfast every day. please provide some mugs for the tea. overall it was good.

The Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows is situated on a sandy beach and is surrounded by stunning tropical and Mediterranean gardens with an abundance of space and understated elegance coupled with hospitality of bygone days. Located only 6 km from Larnaka town centre the hotel's location makes it an ideal base from which to explore the town, Troodos Mountains, Limassol, Nicosia and the Famagusta area. Accommodation includes hotel bedrooms and Garden Studio Bungalows which are located within their own complex complete with lagoon shaped outdoor swimming pool. Facilities are many and varied and include five bars, six restaurants, six swimming pools (three for adults and three for children), modern leisure club and an outdoor children's playground.

The Sandy Beach Hotel, a hotel completely renovated in a fresh island style, is ideally situated in the tourist area between Larnaca and Dhekelia. Located 8 km from the town centre, the hotel enjoys seclusion from the everyday hustle and bustle but is well connected to the surrounding areas with a regular bus service. The hotel lies on the sandy beach amongst beautiful gardens and boasts a spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea.
“ The Sandy Beach hotel was closed, we actually stayed at the Golden Bay and it was lovely, friendly staff, lovely room, all round very comfortable.
