“ We enjoyed our stay there, the staff were brilliant but the breakfast left a lot to be desired and when we arrived there only 3 other people staying there which became 20 by the end of our stay. Basically, although the hotel itself was clean the outside surroundings needed a lot of work to bring it up to standard. You definately need a car if you stay there.
“ Top Tip: There is a friendly bar/restaurant next to the hotel that is owned by a guy to speaks very good english. Larnaca old town which is about 5 miles away has some good restaurants opposite the beach but parking is a nightmare.

“ We were not made aware before travelling that the hotel was closing for the winter 2 days after our stay ended. As there were very few rooms occupied, only a skeletonstaff had been retained. As a result, the restaurant was open only for breakfast and a set evening meal for those on half board; the bar was very poorly stocked and we were unable to get our preferred choice of drink after the first 2 days; essential maintenance was not being carried out such as replacing light bulbs on the main staircase (as it was dark by 5pm, this was a serious safety hazard); the carpets in the bedroom corridors were not being vacuumed; and the room cleaning seemed to consist solely in changing linen, emptying waste bins and wiping the bathroom areas (there was a permanent layer of dust on everything else). We were extremely disappointed with our choice and would not use this hotel again even in summer. We did complain to the hotel staff about the bar stocks and were told that the stocks had been transferred to another hotel under the same owner in anticipation of the winter closure - no offer was made to transfer some of this stock back to accommodate those of us still staying in this Marie Celeste!
“ Top Tip: The best local restaurant was called the Blue Wave - about 200m away on the beach front - but beware that it only opens at night on Friday and Saturday out of season

“ We were only staying at this hotel overnight and arrived in the early hours of the morning as arranged. When we arrived we could not purchase anything to drink, other than one small bottle of water to share between four of us. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The rooms were very basic, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. This is not a 3 star hotel. On a plus point the morning receptionist was extremly helpful, and arranged a car hire rep to deliver a car to us. This hotel is ok for a brief overnight stay, but should not be considered as a holiday destination.
