We stayed for an evening function which was excellent. However, breakfast the following morning wasn't very good. Plenty of choice but poor quality.

Stayed 9 Nights October 2011. We booked this hotel because it was on the beach.
We took the Half Board Option as we do not need food throughout the day and we do not drink much, other than water throughout the day.
The hotel is well placed to the rear is the beach and going through the basement exit your right on the garden and under palm trees and just across a block path is the beach. Loungers are provided free of charge to guests, towels can be hired (we took our own). The block path runs the length of the beach which is considerable. Food at the hotel is adequate, nicely presented and theme days run on a weekly basis- french, chefs delight, Cyprus delight etc.
The offering for breakfast is exceptional as it is for dinner. If full board is taken snacks are offered in the afternoon and drinks are free. The landside rooms face the mountains, we had a beach facing room so we did not experience the road noise from the road directly below the mountain facing rooms. We were able to stay two nights at the hotels sister hotel in Paphos to assist an over booking problem with free transport to it and back to this hotel. The Paphos hotel is a five star a little way from the harbour (15 mins bus ride-1 euro). We found this hotel different but with exceptionally high standards and were very pleased to have been able to stay there. Either hotel is a good stay!

Top Tip: Bars and restaurants were close by both hotels although we did not use them. Nearby both hotels is a well stocked supermarket that sells amongst other things reasonably priced sandwiches for lunch time if they were needed.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the beach.

The problem with the hotel is that there are no main UK Tour Operators using the hotel and thus very few English speaking guest. Whilst this would not normally be a problem, the hotel staff have got into the bad habit of not speaking to their customers. I can understand why this has happened as the majority cannot communicate back with them. However, it means the hotel is a very sterile uninviting atmosphere. During the week I stayed there on a HB basis, not once did any member of the restaurant staff speak with me to either say, hello, good evening, to ask my room number or to offer me a drink with my meal.

Quite frankly, anyone could just walk in off the street and take an evening meal as a room number is never requested. I have never experienced such an unfriendly atmosphere in a hotel. I travel to Cyprus twice a year and normally fell welcomed.

There was entertainment every night in the hotel and the music travel to my room to about 11.30 hrs. This was not an issue for me but may be a problem for those with young children.

No Soap, table grubby, and towels tatty.
Entertainment needs to be reassesed, as relied on 1 laptop and a few pens.
Food ok, coffee awful but we would go back if we got the same deal again.
This hotel was perhaps 4 star then, but is now only a 3 star in our and other guests opinion.

At Kanika Pantheon both the business traveller and the holidaymaker enjoy easy access to all that Limassol has to offer. The hotel is situated in a prime location with downtown Limassol on one side, the tourist zone on the other, and the beach only 50 metres away. Renovated and extended in 2003, the hotel ranks as a 3-star superior hotel offering 4-star facilities. Whether you are here on holiday or business, the rooms are all designed and decorated to offer maximum comfort. In the spacious restaurant overlooking the swimming pool and the hotel gardens you will enjoy an exceptional gastronomic experience with international and local specialities accompanied with a rich list of superior local and imported wines. The new cosy Lido Tavern serves à la carte dishes as well as hot and cold lunch buffets in an irresistible traditional Cypriot setting.

This is a very good hotel, centrally located and near a good beach. Service was always first class and a good buffet every night. We had a first floor room with pool view. These rooms are larger than others and have a balcony with ample room for table, chairs and two sun beds. The hotel was clean and rooms kept spotless. Not a beach hotel as such. Highly recommended

A nice hotel. Clean and smart communal areas. Great spa. Staff are very courteous, which makes a big difference. Breakfast was excellent. Standard rooms are somewhat underwhelming. Hotel in need of some general renovation throughout. All in all a good choice for the price.

 3 Star Hotel

Customer rating from 24 reviews: 6.9 Above Average

This modern, air-conditioned 5-storey hotel comprises 200 rooms and features a pleasant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a hairdresser's salon, a bar, a public Internet terminal and an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant. Room and laundry services are available and those arriving by car may make use of the car park and garage facilities. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground.

The Arsinoe, is a budget hotel that is run on a very tight budget by the management. It has had a slight refurbishment since I last stayed but to be fair it only painted over the cracks. I have stayed at this hotel over 15 times covering almost 10 years and have to say that this visit was the last.

The extensively renovated and upgraded Elias Beach is the most recent member of the award-winning Kanika Hotels. This luxurious beach hotel is located on a quiet and beautiful ‘Blue Flag’ sandy beach in the ancient Amathus area, only a short drive from Limassol’s tourist and city centres. Three beautiful new free-form swimming pools are surrounded by lush landscaped gardens overlooking the sandy beach along the Mediterranean blue, with vast areas offering guests more privacy in an atmosphere reminiscent of a tropical paradise. The climate, location and setting will tempt you to stay outdoors as much as possible! Open-air bars and full-service restaurants welcome you for drinks, meals and evening entertainment, with a different theme night to end each day of the week.

A lovely hotel with great food and really friendly and attentive staff. With the weather being cold, it was great to be able to use the indoor heated pool and the hotel was quiet so we had the pool to ourselves.
