I have stayed here several times before and it has always been good value with friendly staff, clean rooms. aircon and TV. It has been refurbished recently.
The food was a bit basic but well cooked and presented.
Facilities were as advertised and were clean and tidy.
There were a lot of Russian people staying there this year.
The hotel is located up a quite steep hill so if your pins are dodgy then dont stay there.
Summary-a good inexpensive place to stay.
“ Top Tip: Goerges pub just to the right as you meet the beach road is very good value and for typically english fare try the little cafe a bit further up the road called Blue ...sorry cant remember the rest but you cant miss it as it is painted blue and is run by english people.

“ Hotel needs a refurb in certain sections of the hotel, breakfast did not seem very desirable and needs to be addressed I feel, though all in all the hotel is quiet, friendly and has a very good location near all the best restaurants, beach, bars etc! Staff seemed friendly.
“ Top Tip: Top restaurants at the Amathus hotel fish tavern and Kissos seafood restaurant are reccommended, this is from someone from the island!

“ THE HOTEL IS IN A GOOD LOCATION BUT IS LOOKING A LITTLE SHABBY. I FIRST WENT TO THIS HOTEL 15 YEARS AGO AND NOTHING SEEMS TO HAVE CHANGED BUT FOR THE MONEY IT WAS GOOD VALUE.

THE LOCAL SUPERMARKET OFFERS EXCELLENT EXCHANGE RATE MUCH BETTER THAN IN THE U.K. THERE ARE SEVERAL RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA WITH GOOD TOURIST MENUS. THE HAMLET BAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FAVOURITE WITH US AND IS ALWAYS SHOWING FOOTBALL (ON ALL 15 SCREENS!) AND COCKTAILS ARE CHEAP.

Rooms definitely 3 star but clean and comfortable and serviced every day. Food each day was suitably varied.
They run a Happy Hour promotion all day long, for every 3 of the same drink you get the fourth free so keep your receipts (they carry over too, so don't throw any away)
