“ Hotel needs a refurb in certain sections of the hotel, breakfast did not seem very desirable and needs to be addressed I feel, though all in all the hotel is quiet, friendly and has a very good location near all the best restaurants, beach, bars etc! Staff seemed friendly.
“ Top Tip: Top restaurants at the Amathus hotel fish tavern and Kissos seafood restaurant are reccommended, this is from someone from the island!

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. The general feeling in the lobby was rather gloomy but as a three star option it was quite good value for money. We upgraded to a sea view room for a small sum. the rooms at the back looked onto the motorway which was busy and noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good swimming pool.
Easy parking was a point in its favour.

“ THE HOTEL IS IN A GOOD LOCATION BUT IS LOOKING A LITTLE SHABBY. I FIRST WENT TO THIS HOTEL 15 YEARS AGO AND NOTHING SEEMS TO HAVE CHANGED BUT FOR THE MONEY IT WAS GOOD VALUE.

THE LOCAL SUPERMARKET OFFERS EXCELLENT EXCHANGE RATE MUCH BETTER THAN IN THE U.K. THERE ARE SEVERAL RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA WITH GOOD TOURIST MENUS. THE HAMLET BAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FAVOURITE WITH US AND IS ALWAYS SHOWING FOOTBALL (ON ALL 15 SCREENS!) AND COCKTAILS ARE CHEAP.

Rooms definitely 3 star but clean and comfortable and serviced every day. Food each day was suitably varied.
They run a Happy Hour promotion all day long, for every 3 of the same drink you get the fourth free so keep your receipts (they carry over too, so don't throw any away)
