“ i found the hotel to be alright,a bit basic but had everything we needed,although i would say the hot side of breakfast could do with changing a bit,got a bit boring,the staff were nice even the grumpy guy on reception was actually very nice once we got talking to him.i had also read on tripadvisor that the hotel was full of asylun seekers which was a bit worrying but it was nt too bad and they kept themselves to themselves,a bit noisy though now and again,all in all it was good to stay there and would do again ,and would even feel quite comfortable if i was on my own.
“ Top Tip: i wouldnt say we found anything special but it was local to all the shops and there is a nice market 5mins walk away at where i called the island,take a left out of door

“ I have stayed at this hotel many times before and the hotel has gone down in standards over the years. I would now only rate this hotel as a one star in fact i have stayed in lodges with a better rateing. The food for breakfast was not at all very good and the evening meals were had no taste and little choice. The staff i could not fault.
“ Top Tip: yes a nice resaurant at the top of the hill just before the market

“ the hotel was quite nice but the staff were appaling extremley rude and un helpful also my husband spent a week on a camp bed and when he asked for extra pillows was told you have already got 1 pillow thats enough he was not offered a tidy bed to sleep in we are not picky people but on this occasion our complaints are well justified stay away from this hotel

The Avlida Hotel is a spacious hotel situated under one kilometre from the centre of Paphos, and close to a small sandy beach, directly opposite 'The Tomb of the Kings'. This hotel combines a great All Inclusive concept, comfort and hospitality, and enjoys a delightful setting for a sun filled holiday. There are many facilities and amenities offered to tempt guests nearby, the sandy beach is just 300 metres walk away and shops, taverns and bars are all located near the hotel. Paphos harbour and the local market is only about fifteen minutes walk. To book the Avlida Hotel gives you the opportunity to enjoy the inviting Cyprus climate and local culture. Getting to the hotel: 15 km from Phaphos airport (105 km from Larnaca airport) - Local Tips: This region has a wealth of history nearby and further afield all worth exploring.
“ Externally smart and likewise the public rooms. Bedrooms were spacious, if a little short on storage, but admittedly we took a lot of clothes for the fortnight.The bath was a good size and non slip with the dual showers effective, if inclined to scauld occasionally.

Appreciated we were at back end of season and there seemed to be less staff than last time we went - however those present were very helpful and pleasant.Any small maintenance issues taken care of quickly and efficiently. Great location - parts of hotel could do with re furb but we will go again.

Well run, clean and with a relaxed atmosphere.
