Aphrodite Hills Apartments and Villas

“ We stayed in an appartment. It was very clean and comfortable. The communal pools were beautifully clean, the vegetation was also wonderfully kept.

The only criticism of the appartment I would have was that there were no cleaning materials such as washing up liquid etc. I am perfectly prepared to clean up after myself but having to buy such things when you are only there or a short time is not very desirable.

Otherwise it was very good, the shops/restaurants were also very good and fairly reasonably priced.

“ We arrived at our accommodation slightly before check-in time, and during a power cut. The staff in the rental office were extremely inefficient. Several persons spoke to us and said they would be "back in a minute" only to disappear. As we waited we observed a member of staff being exceedingly rude to another guest - the customer service at reception was non existent When we were shown to our two bedroom apartment we were given a registration form and asked to provide details of a credit card for "extras". We were asked to confirm that these could be deducted from the card without the final invoice ever being shown to us! We did not sign this form, and to be fair although at checkout it was asked for, when my husband indicated it would not be given, the matter was not pursued any further.
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment in "Theseus" village. It was extremely well equipped with stunning sea views and a huge outdoor area. The village itself seemed deserted despite it being July and the communal pools were disappointing. Both were extremely shallow with hardly any sunbeds or umbrellas. During our stay we were invited to the pool at Adonis village which was superb by comparison.
We did not eat on the complex but did have drinks at Anoi's pub. The staff were friendly and helpful although the drink was very overpriced.
A car is essential at this resort as it is quite isolated. Although there is a beach club this is a 15 minute drive away.

“ Top Tip: Pissouri village is charming with a number of restaurants in the square. We ate at O'Vrakas which was excellent. There is a Cypriot night in the square every Wednesday night during July and August.

Liminacki in Pissouri Bay was another excellent meal - advance booking is essential. The beach here is also nice with good watersports.


The supermarket on the way into Pissouri had a huge selection of groceries.

“ Fantastic apartment in a quiet resort with a few nice restaurants only a few minutes' walk away. A great place to unwind and get some sun.

“ Wonderfully kept apartments and grounds and a great golf course at a reasonable price if that's what you want. The swimming pools are really great-first class. On the downside it's 35 Euro's each way to Pahos by Taxi and there are not regular transfers from the resort. The restaurants and bars are slightly expensive but the food is excellent.
