Avanti was value for money- at least what I paid. Spotlessly clean friendly staff. More personal than most holiday hotels. Everything requested delivered within minutes.

Liked the idea of being able to flexi dine meaning you can eat out so many nights and half board the others at a vvvv reasonable cost. Sadly we signed up at home for HB every night and the hotel is surrounded by many tempting restaurants. Breakfast -plenty of choice - but for me -I missed real fruit juice, real butter and BREAD. The bread on offer looked wonderful but was so disappointing all over the island. But - best scrambled eggs produced on mass I have ever tasted. Managed to get hold of some HP sauce.!!!!
Evening meal -again so much choice - beautifully presented- excelled in salads and vegetables which were so crisp -not a pile of mush. amazing blue cheese -forget the waxy others -BUT enthusiasm died out after 4 days- craved a little formality and to be waited on -hence flexi-dine would have worked for me.

Many guests return again and again to this hotel. I won't because I prefer small and personal. BUT the staff work so hard to look after their guests. I left with fond memories -my kids many years ago would have loved it, Thank you Avanti

“ Top Tip: Use local transport. Buses are so cheap. A 3E ticket can be used in 24hr to take you anywhere in the city on as many buses as you wish. Travelling further afield is cheap. Car hire. Despite all the rumours about their driving its childsplay compared to driving in our cities. Travelled 500k on nearly empty roads.
