“ The hotel is in need of refurbishment but still very nice. It is off the beaten track and the beach is rocky and quite some way to the nearest sandy beach. Very expensive and is not up to its 5 star rating.
“ Top Tip: Restaurant near to Tomb of The Kings called Fat Mamas - great food and entertaining.

We stayed here for a quick stopover before flying back to the UK and although this hotel may have been very good in it's day it is now very tired and run down. We stayed in a Junior suite and the decor and style is very old and the floor tiles on our floor were in a terrible state. We thought some very basic stuff was missing like no tea and coffee facilities in your room and the hotel couldn't supply an iron you had to pay and send everything off to the laundry. Also on room service you had to pay a tray charge for each individual staying just didn't make sense...I think hotels need to be reclassified regularly so people can get an honest view before traveling .

This hotel comprises 283 rooms, of which 5 are suites. A lobby area awaits guests with a 24-hour reception and 4 lifts. “ Have just returned from a 2 night break at the Aloe for my birthday. It was our third visit to this hotel and we have always found it good value for money. We booked through Travel Republic as they seemed to have the best deal for half board.

“ An excellent hotel, very clean, staff extremely helpful, can't do enough for you. The best food we have ever had in an hotel, definately will take another break there. Other people we met there have said they will return to this hotel and people were trying to book additional nights as they enjoyed their stay there so much.

“ This is a lovely hotel with a lot of aminities. The staff are all very nice and helpful but it has the feeling of a continenal hotel trying to be a high class British hotel like the Savoy. When on holiday you want to relaxe not feel as if you are out of place.

Well run, clean and with a relaxed atmosphere. The Mayfair Hotel and Apartments have a variety of facilities to keep you entertained during your holiday including tennis, a full entertainment programme, a hotel run kids club, restaurant, two bars, theme nights at the hotel, minigolf, volleyball, basketball, gym, sauna, and massage.
