Pafian Sun Holiday Village

“ Booked this hotel as self catering and when arrived found very little utensils in the apartment. When asked at hotel reception for more utensils their response was not helpful their reply was the majority of guest are staying all inclusive. We eventully got the utensils after severel requests. Websites advertise satalite TV it doesn't have this and what programmes it does have are in Greek and BBC World News and these have a very poor reception. Irons had to be asked for at reception and a €20 refundable depoist paid. Safe deposit boxes are charged at €2.60 per day. This I would expect to be free and I have found in many other 4 star hotels. Hotel on coast line which doesn't have a beach.

In our opition overall standard of apartment is not 4 star

“ Top Tip: None of the above. 10/15 minutes bus ride to any nice restaurants.
Closest beach was 15 minutes bus ride away and was very small and busy.

“ Wasn't the 4 star service and quality we expected. A lot of ants and a few cockroaches in room. No ash tray available and poor collection of crockery and utensils for anyone wanting to cook in their apartment - not even any cutlery! Excellent for half board basis, all-inclusive got a bit tiresome and the novelty soon wore off, especially with the choice of meals being very similar everyday! Pool was lovely and quiet pool was a haven to get away from noise of kids and music played all day around pool area. V. close to beach although it was a tiny bit of bay on the cliffs. Overall enjoyed stay but wouldn't go AI again.

“ Top Tip: Bus stop directly opposite hotel €2 all day bus pass anywhere - excellent value! Found two great restaurants Big Mama's for fab entertainment and Raffles for mouthwatering steak - we went several times!

“ Generally pleased with hotel standard, rooms large, modestly decorated comfortable kitchen/lounge. Food good plenty of choices with varied menus each night. Great pools. Entertainment at hotel very good, provided all day every day shows in evening were great fun, what a hard working team.

“ Overall we were very happy with the accomodation. The food and drink was very good and the staff were always available and helpful. TThe room was very nice and nicely placed over looking the beach. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Just some small minor changes were needed. There was no layout of the hotel or its grounds provided or anywhere to be seen so we either had to ask or have a wander around to find the restaurant, toilets, kids club, gym, saunas etc. The evening entertainment was average, the entertainment team consisted of amateur singing and dancing with a round of bingo every night. More variety is required qwith some specailty acts to be brought in from the outside. Same goes for the day time activities.

“ Top Tip: Coral bay beach is nearby if you enjoy the beach with boats and other activities includign restaurant and bar available if you like a beach holiday. The town of Pahos and habour areas were also good for shopping and boat cruises. High street shops such as Debenhams and Next were also there with the usual McDonalds and KFc, Pizza huts etc if you preffer some home comforts.
