“ What a unique hotel! As soon as you walk in the front door you are confronted with suits of armour and a variety of weapons and shields. It was certainly the first time we had stayed anywhere like this! The room we had was small, but functional and clean. In our 5 night stay our sheets were changed once which was acceptable to me. Reception staff were polite and helpful. On our check out day we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel at no extra charge. The hotel is in the "Lesser Town" area of Prague which really gives the best of both worlds. You are away from the hustle and bustle of Wesceslas Square and the Old Town, but close enough to walk over a bridge into the Old Town. Expect to do a lot of walking if you visit Prague!
“ Top Tip: We arrived late on Sunday evening and were looking to find something to eat without travelling too far. The man behind reception recommended Bar Bar which is literally only metres away. It's a funky bar and restaurant which serves food until 22:45 Sun to Thurs and 23:45 Fri and Sat. Nice artwork there as well! Worth a visit even if it's only for a drink.

“
The staff were very friendly and helpful here. The hotel was close to Charles Bridge and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. You could get tram tickets from the front desk and stamps if you needed to send postcards.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very thorough, in fact they ended up throwing away one of the crackers that were left on the bed that we hadnt even pulled yet!
The lift was useful, the bed was comfy, the shower wasnt the best but it was ok. The breakfast wasnt great but in comparison to Czech food in general it was probably outstanding! There was enough food to have a choice, just dont bank on a lovely full English as its all a bit strange to eat.
Overall though it was a good place to stay.
“ Top Tip: Lovely Thai restaurant at the end of the road called Noi - very lovely food and friendly staff.

“ Excellent service from staff, accommodation of a comfortable and of a good standard. A beautiful medieval hall sometimes used for external functions which limits guests access to hotel bar and parties can be noisy. However there are a number of excellent bars and restaurants in the locality. Good location for main sites in center of Prague.
“ Top Tip: Some interesting cellar bars in locality providing good food and drink.

“ The hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, especially the awkward porter, who was such a nice man. Breakfast was wide-ranging. Location was brilliant for non-party-goers. It is the best place to stay if you want to see prague in its true historic beauty. I don't actually have a bad thing to say about this hotel.
“ Top Tip: GREAT restaurant called "GETANES" - truely fantastic.
