Completely restored to its original style, the Casa Marcello Hotel Prague is one of the most distinctive hotels in the centre of Prague and is just a few steps away from the Old Town Square and adjacent to the 1000 year old St. Agnes Monastery. The elegant bedrooms combine comfort and tradition with luxurious baths, telephone, plasma screen television and minibar. The Casa Marcello Hotel Prague offers free WiFi throughout and there is a computer in reception where clients can check their emails free of charge.
The beautifully decorated Agnes Restaurant with its partially gothic-style interior, creates a pleasant atmosphere and serves traditional dishes of Czech cuisine, in addition to other specialities. It also offers a wide selection of excellent French and Czech wines. Another highlight is the Flower Garden Terrace, where you can order food from the restaurant and is ideal for summer relaxation. The hotel's Relax Club offers a well-equipped fitness gym and also offers a dry sauna, ideally for unwinding in after a long day sightseeing.

“ Fabulously unusual - tucked away down a little side street away from any hustle and bustle but close enough for Old Town Square, restaurants and night life. Very warm and comfy room although ours was on the ground floor and did smell of damp, otherwise I would have rated 10/10. Couldn't fault the breakfast - everything you would expect from continental plus eggs and bacon if you wanted. I enjoyed the smoked salmon. Would def recommend to anyone.

The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Breakfasts were varied, appetising and with an excellant choice of both cold and hot dishes. Also, breakfast was served from between 7.30am and 10.30am,so catering for both the early and late risers.
The courtyard was located in an attractive setting with staff willing to serve us or leave us alone,as we chose.
We had a most spacious bedroom and a full length bath, much to my pleasure, in an adjoining room.Hot water was always available.
And,finally and most importantly, the hotel represented extremely good value particularly since it was so conveniently located for the centre of Prague.
“ Top Tip: The Old Town Square was, literally, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, while the French restaurant, Chez Marcel, 50 yards away became our local serving pretty decent food and a wide selection of drinks. It had atmosphere as well!

Despite being allocated an already occupied room (I think they were in bed when we walked through the door!), we were re-allocated to another, which had a spiral staircase leading to the bathroom. Although this rather odd layout was a minor nuisance and the shower in the bathroom was broken, the hotel staff were excellent and responded in next to no time with a new shower attachment.
The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was very good. Overall, we would not hesitate in recommending this charming, superbly located hotel.
“ Top Tip: Prague is a wonderful city and best explored on foot. Take some very comfortable footware and be prepared for extreme weather conditions. We had 16degrees, 30degrees, sunshine, showers, hail, torrential rain and thunder within a 3day spell.

“ Brilliant breakfast as far as continental goes. Even bacon, eggs & sausage amongst all the healthy stuff ! On the down side we had 57 steps to climb each night to our room but it was worth it. Large room with skylight views to the rooftops. A mirror would have been useful though in the room.
“ Top Tip: Easy to walk to a lot of the interesting places. All on the flat so still easy going even in your 60's. Spoilt for choice with the restaurants.

“ friendly staff, we did not require much information re prague as our friends had visited the city previously but when we did require same we thought the staff were very good in supplying information, maps etc. check in was very good, reception staff very friendly as were dining room staff. hotel location good as only short walk into old town, squares, retaurants, bars etc. all close to hotel. one down side to hotel was no tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom and possibly because of time of year the bar was not open so we could not even purchase same. on leaving hotel checkout was as good as arrival with taxi transfer on time, again all very efficient..........very impressed we will use you again.
