“ The hotel room was spacious; some might find the bathroom small, particularly the shower, but I thought it was fine for the price (and I'm a big lad). The staff were friendly. The breakfast was a good continental for the price (and nice sausages - not British nice - Eastern European nice, kinda like frankfurters, but a better flavour and texture). It was a 10 minute walk (max) to the Old Town Square, 15 to Charles Bridge (but make sure you've got a map, because it's a maze of a city).
“ Top Tip: Drinks are more expensive around the Old Town Square - especially avoid the Irish bars (£3.60 for a pint of Guinness). But in restaurants, wherever you are, the drinks are always cheaper.

“ The hotel and staff were very pleasant and helpful. They spoke English well. The only downside was the size of my shower cubicle was too small and power sockets were not near the table but the door, which meant to use them you needed very long leads. I was staying in a single room on the third floor.
“ Top Tip: Generally the hotel was a short walk from the main Streets and Squares eg Wenceslas Sq of Prague. The breakfast was of good quality.
