Clarion Old Town Hotel

“ All of our party were very pleased and would go again. Very clean, breakfast excellent, helpful staff. Near the market places, five minute walk and loads to see on the walk.

“ Top Tip: Turn right out of hotel to local restaurant around the corner called the Salud, very good and cheaper than near the market place. Hop on and off bus not really worth it, only got off stop at castle and could have got tram No 22.

“ Hotel was clean, smart and our room was of a very good size with good facilities. The staff were friendly but embarrassed to tell us that the restaurant was being refurbished even though we booked half board, the alternative restaurant was OK though - new customers will have the benefit of a new restaurant.
It was about 15 minute walk to the main town square but the walk started to get interesting after the first 5 minutes

“ A very clean and spacious hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I purchased a packet of cigarettes from the hotel bar and the bar maid even opened my packet and lit a cigarette for me, they cannot do enough for you! On new years day the cleaners even folded our clothes that were left around the room saving us the job of doing it with a hangover!!

“ Top Tip: From the hotel walk left along the river Vltava for 10 mins to the famous Charles Bridge or walk right from the hotel for 10 mins to find the Old Town Sqaure, a hive of activity with bars, restaraunts and market stalls selling roasted chesnuts and hot wine.

“ Top Tip: The Argentinian restaurant was very good
