Standards high, as would be expected from the Hilton.
The location is not close to the centre and would be better described as " 200mtrs from the Metro system with frequent trains to the heart of the City in 10 minutes "
“
Top Tip:
Need small change fro the Metro ticket machines.
Good restaurants in Prague are often down in cellars down stairs from small entrances. Don't be put off.

“ One negative point. We didn;t know in advance that the hotel needed a £300 authorisation in advance for any items put on the room. I thought this was a bit excessive and that we should have been informed that this was required in advance.

The Hotel was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the Cloud 9 bar on the top floor - it's fantastic at night as you look out over the river - the champagne cocktails were delicious!
The fitness & spa facilities are also a welcome bonus to relax in after all the walking round the city.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Prague and would recommend to anyone.

“ We were booked in at the new Prague Hilton but they overbooked ( disappointing ). However they took it upon themselves to transfer us to their older venue 'Hilton Old Prague' that did us several favours. It was much closer to all the sights and it had an abundance of restaurants close by, which was necessary as it had only one real restaurant. The hotel was noticeably older but was clean/well decorated and generally nice. For the inconvenience of moving, Hilton upgraded our room to their executive floor and gave us executive privileges that were mainly the freedom of their executive lounge with all internet use, drinks and snacks free - very good!
“ Top Tip: Great variety of (mainly pseudo-czech food) restaurants nereby recommended by the hotel. Never found any rip-offs at these places despite warnings on the web. Prague centre is expensive for everything - travel out a few blocks and prices drop significantly. Look for the places the Czechs use and be guided by the outside menu price of half litre of local beer that should be around 35 Kc ( £1.40 approx.)
