Mamaison Hotel Riverside

“ Hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent room, particularly the bathroom which featured a lovely large bath and under-floor heating.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

“ This hotel is no way a 5 star. Whilst it was nice and the staff very good what let it down was the basic up keep and maintenance. The shower head would not tighten on the adjustable rail so would slide down constantly whilst showering. The bathroom extractor fan would not work so you would have to open the door to let the steam out. The window handles were very loose yet just two screws to tighten. The fridge had strange brown gunk leaking inside it and not very clean. I would not expect these basic maintenance issues in a 5*. I found all these and was only staying one night. Worth mentioning is that the reception is just a small desk with a chair for the staff and two for people checking in. We had to que to check in again very tedious given its 5* rating.
The good points are the staff are very helpful and friendly speaking excellent English and the breakfast was very nice. Location is good by the river however quite a walk to the main attractions that Prague offers.

“ Beautiful, clean and friendly. Long walk to old town so recommend a metro pass which was easy to use and saved our aching legs. Would stay here again as great base.
