“ Lovely hotel, well situated, close to many places of interest. Very 'european' in style and decor. Staff were excellent, very helpful, breakfast selection was very good. I am in the travel trade here in Scotland, and I have some experiance of good standards, 'Opera' serves a very high standard, giving excellent value re price and quality.

“ Top Tip: Ny haven area is just next door, but a bit pricey. Look for happy hours, get good value at prices nearer home.

“ A quiet hotel in a great central location, near the Metro, buses and Stroeget. Very helpful staff on Reception. We wished we had asked more questions earlier, rather than spending the first day wasting time trying to find out for ourselves! Rather small room, but functional, especially for a short stay. Good, plentiful breakfast.
This is a traditional type hotel with an intimate feel. Good value for money. We visited the Karlsberg Visitor Centre, which was really interesting and at 65 kronor a reasonable price, especially as it includes 2 beers. Also, went to visit friends in Lund. Easy to get to by train from Copenhagen.

Informal eaterie - the Samos buffet off Stroeget. Small restaurant but very popular. Greek food, all you can eat buffet, set price. Good price for wine and beer too.

Lots of tourist places are not open on Mondays e.g. Louisiana Art Gallery, so it is wise to plan your stay around this.

“ Room was small and dingy. In need of refurb with a tiny bathroom. Lighting terrible. 1 inch mattress, really uncomfortable. Nice friendly staff.
