If you are looking for a place to enjoy the best of the Caribbean while being close to the city of Santo Domingo, the Dominican Bay is the perfect accommodation. A great mixture between the city din and being next to the crystalline water and white sandy beach of Boca Chica, Santo Domingo's beach par excellence, means that relaxing and enjoying the richly varied nightlife is absolutely no problem.

Among the 437 rooms available, you will find all you need for a comfortable stay. All rooms are equiped with telephone, TV, satelite TV, safe (payable locally) and air-conditioning.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:00-14:30) and dinner (18:00-21:30), all served in a rich buffet style at the main restaurant. Drinks served with the main meals are local wine and beer, soft drinks and water. Different snacks such as pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, etc are served at the Palmar snack bar between 11:00-17:00 (drinks served at this bar from 10.00-18.00). There is a special dinner included in the AI package, available once a week at the Chinese Garden restaurant (19.00-22.30) and at the La Spiaggia A la Carte restaurant (19.00-22.30). Reservation required for both (20% discount on a la carte dinners; drinks free of charge).
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Facilities at the hotel include two tennis courts (reservation required), windsurfing, volleyball, water polo, table games, snorkeling, kayaks, 2 swimming pools and 2 childrens pools, horse riding (once per stay, Monday -,Saturday) and bikes 1 hour per day (09.00-15.00). Free crèche facilities and a kids club (for children from 4yrs old) welcome little hotel guests. Bay-sitting upon request and at a charge. Towels for the beach and pools are also available at the hotel. An animation team provides daily sporting events and evening activities including cabaret acts and live shows.

“ This hotel wasn't so good as I thought. But if you want get cheap holidays then that is the best option. Stuff was good,especially Addy,he was the most friendliest person there and he can speak in english. He was very helpfully to me. Room was clean,but requires to be repair.

Shocking is an understatement! No smoke detectors or alarms! There was a fire one afternoon and people stood around and said look fire! Thick black smoke was pouring around the area. Luckily it did not happen at night.
The light in my bathroom hardly worked. It was mentioned at reception but was not fixed. Faulty wiring which was dangerous. Sockets sometimes worked. The last two days I had water dripping through the bowed ceiling. One day no hot water but not worth changing room as other people had no electricity! No life guard but security guard with gun was fun! Snacks restaurant should be open until 6am but would sometimes be closed at 1am. One member of staff poured vodka into the cap of the bottle and drank it then replaced the cap! Staff would urinate but no hand wash!

Top Tip:
Boca Chica is a very dangerous place with tourists being killed! Advised to walk after dark with bottle or take a bike taxi. My friend watched the police beat a guy to pulp even though he was handcuffed!
I stayed on a resort in Menorca booked through you which was fine. The Dominican Republic is a very dangerous place and crime and corruption is rife.

“ Exactly what you would expect from this type of Domincan Hotel. Satifactory for the price payed. Staff all good. Room always cleaned by friendly maids.
“ Top Tip: Don't believe the hype take a trip down in to Boca Chica town, a firm No will always discourage the sellers.

“ dirtiest hotel i have ever been to rooms not clean shower only worked the last two nights after complaining every day that there was no water the pool wasnt cleaned very often the whole resort in bad state of repair this place is not child friendly staff could barely speak english so no entertainment unless you can understand spanish french german ect this i would not even rate this 1 star
“ Top Tip: you couldnt go out the hotel at night and in the day only a short distance to the shops where you get harrassed ,men,children begging

“ Rooms were a little tired and in need of modernisation. None of our party were ill so cleanliness was of a high standard. Food was basic but edible and plentiful. Entertainment could definitely have been improved upon. Would go back again. Went on a wonderful excursion on a catamaran and it was fantastic!
