“ I wish I was still there! The temperature was wonderful although it rained each afternoon at about 4.30, this was quite refeshing though. We did have a couple of real good down pours but being May that was expected. We had no problems with the hotel at all, the rooms were kept clean and the occassional dollar tip was rewarded with a few nice extras. One day we got back to find two bath towels had been made into swans and decorated with flowers next to the lovely round 'big enough for two' bath. The staff were friendly and helpful (once you get used to the lack of visable signs of acknowledgement when you ask a question, I think this is a cultural thing, its definately not rudeness...). The food was plentyful and varied and there was always somewhere to eat at any time of the day or night. The drinks flowed readily but were a little more watered down by the pool (a good thing in my book.... stay hydrated!)

“ Top Tip: If you have a sense of adventure go on the FUN FUN CAVE trip, its worth every penny (not for the claustrophobic, or if you suffer from vertigo...) I honestly wouldn't have gone if I had known exactly what we were going to do and I would have missed out on the best day of our holiday! You'll need to be reasonably fit to get the most out of it but not an olympic althlete. The Japanese restaurant was my favourite.

“ beautiful grounds , beach,pool area, food was lovely , the service was very poor , lots of problems from the start to the end of our holiday , the rooms on the surface are really nice , but there are a lot of problems , water, electrics not good , maid service excellent, the saving grace for this holiday was the beach , the entertainment at night it very old hat ,reminiscent of a poor poor holiday camp , go with an open mind don't expect much by way of service , you will have a great time

“ Top Tip: do the saona trip its fantastic, also try the quad bike trip, but don't forget your sunglasses cause the dust really gets in your eyes

“ the hotelk was very tidy and clean. nice walkways with thatched palm roofing kept the intense heat off you as you walk to the beach and or pool. Rooms supplied with separate shower and bath. I would rate it as a 4 star rather than 5 but only because some niceties missing: iron and ironing board, trouser press and umberella for the quick tropical storm. Entertainment team 6star!!! Excellent and beachparty was great fun. International buffet food OK but the speciality restaurants were excellent. Especially the Mikado (japanese). Would stay there again because for the money I thought it was excellent value.
