Beaches considered amongst the finest in the Caribbean stretch out for kilometres on both sides of the town. Puerto Plata airport, which offers long-distance travellers good connections to the international transport network, lies around 180 km from the hotel.The modern rooms reflect high standards in terms of their fittings and represent ideal accommodation. They all come with an en suite bathroom and a balcony or terrace with wonderful views of the gardens. Standard fittings provided in all accommodation units include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, 2 beds queen size, individually adjustable air conditioning and a hire safe, where valuables may be safely stored.Guests can relax in the hotel grounds where there are 2 swimming pools. One of the pools also has a Jacuzzi. There is an entertainment team which organises a wide variety of activities: dance courses. It is also possible to play table tennis.The nearest airport is in Puerto Plata (about 202 km away). The international airport in El Catey opened in November 2006, about 33 km away from the hotel.

“ our first ever stay in an all-inclusive and most impressed, particularly at the standard of the food - lots of variety, always something freshly cooked, loads of fruit, salad and veg and wonderful fresh fish. staff were mostly young and delightful - helpful, friendly. the place was very empty as the season had barely begun and it may have been different if we'd been sharing the pool and other facilities with crowds. only need to cross the road to get to the beach which was like other lovely beaches in the DR - white sand and coconut palms. the beach bar hadn't opened but there were sun loungers out and the kayaks for those who wanted them. for a 3 star hotel at TR prices, it's a very good deal. make sure you know where you're going - address on TR site comes up as Samana in Samana - it's actully in Las Terrenas on the Samana peninsula
“ Top Tip: it's a big hill btn sanchez and las terrenas and the road is bad so motos are not the best way to travel for the faint hearted - the taxi company opposite the hotel gave a very good price to get us to the bus station in Sanchez - was the same price for a luxury car as we paid for the 2 very scary motos when we arrived
