We had 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Firstly the location is superb, central on the Corniche and right on the riverbank. The pool and outdoor bar/dining facilities directly overlook the Nile and sitting there with a drink or a meal watching the felucca and riverboats on a warm afternoon is absolutley idyllic. All the facilities of Aswan are immediately available when you step out of the hotel.
The rooms are all bungalow style arranged in short terraces and we had a "garden view room" which I would recommend over the "standard" rooms which are closer to the Corniche and therefore closer to traffic noise etc. Our room was peaceful, clean, tidy and comfortable. The bathroom could be said to be looking a bit tired but if was very clean and presentable. The only issue was that the hot water to our shower could be a bit unreliable but, when it was best part of 30 degrees outside, a cooler shower wasn't really a problem.
Breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful, although it is the first time I've been offered mashed potato in a breakfast buffet. That said, it was beautifully creamed with a crispy grilled topping. We ate twice at the pool bar and the food was very good quality, probably of a higher standard than we found in restaurants outside. Food prices were generally competitive although the drinks prices were higher than elsewhere (a beer was 20LE compared to 10LE outside).
All the staff were friendly and attentive and were only too pleased to help with any problems. My wife lost her sun glasses after a session around the pool and, when reported at reception, they were found and returned to us later in the day. For hours later we had various concerned waiters etc. asking if we had got them back.
Today is our 3rd day home and I would gladly be back at the Isis at Aswan.

Top Tip: The restaraunts along the Corniche on the right as you leave the hotel are all pretty good although the Aswan Moon and Panorama have stopped serving alcohol. The 'Emy' attracts a lot of Nubian locals and we were entertained to a session of spontaneous folk singing on the night we were there.

Hotel is pretty basic, but more than adequate. Clean and good staff. best feature is the location - right on the banks of the Nile with lovely views, especially at sunset.

I stayed in this hotel about 18 months ago and the clientele seems to have now changed. It is a 3 star hotel but the clientele seem now to be many 1 star Egyptian families who have never been to a hotel before. The hotel itslef is OK per se (older people beware, there are plenty of steps) as it is right next to the Nile and well laid out with nice gardens, but the Egyptian families with screaming children were up til all hours and had to be told to quieten down. Also, during the day round the pool many had their smartphones playing music and again were told.

The hotel has many facilities including free wifi and is ideally situated for all needs.

Top Tip: If you want a great sandwich at lunchtime, go right out of the hotel and after the first junction cross over and continue right a few yards to a cafe where there is a Coca-Cola machine outside. Try a liver and onion and frites sandwich, but they do all sorts. It is open in the evening and a quality cheap meal can be had here. It's not plush as it's for locals.

Really good staff at the hotel very helpful.

Top Tip: There are very few resturants at mid-range budget. So keeping to a budget is difficult however found McDonald resturant 10 min walk from hotel which is very popular with families.

Comfortable but a little tired. Good location next to river with lovlely view from resaurant and pool. Accessibility, particularly with luggage could be difficult due to stairs and no lift, but the porters will help. Good value for price.
