“ Wonderful hotel, smartly decorated and laid out. The deluxe rooms are a good size with nice little 'courtyard' out the back with outdoor shower; bathroom lovely with sunken bath. Our room (642) was near the end of a row, 5 mins from beach/restaurants, but quiet with a lovely sea view. Staff lovely and very friendly. Only downside was the food - would describe it as 'fine' - but the restaurants in town were all much better and only 10 mins drive away in a free shuttle bus - my recommendation would be to go b&b. Beach is the best I saw in dahab, but as stated, you can't swim from the beach, only from the jetty, but this didn't seem to bother anyone - but the house reef is worth the effort and there are 2 saltwater and 1 freshwater pool if you prefer.
“ Top Tip: Ate at Ali. Aba, shark and same sme restaurants, all fantastic. Can't buy alcohol there, but can bring your own - or try the amazing thick shakes - a dahab speciality

“ An oasis in the desert. Wonderful rooms, beautiful facilities and very friendly staff. Also, having a dive/snorkelling centre on site was great.
“ Top Tip: Go for a camel safari - but not necessarily the trek up Mt Sinai! Drink bedouin tea. Go snorkelling at the 'islands' on the boat from the hotel as well as the Blue Hole.

“ We enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien Dahab. We liked the seaview especially as you have to pay such a premium for such a room.The room itself was of a good standard, we were especially pleased with the shower. My husband was particularly pleased with the diving school.We were disappointed with the lack of bars in the evening, perhaps keeping the beach bar open in the evening.

“ Certainly one of the finest Red Sea Hotels we have come across. A proper 5 star facility.
“ Top Tip: Nice tennis courts. Close to downtown Dahab and the dive centers there. Mirage Divers was quite outstanding providing us with a first rate private dive experience of the Dahabs best dive sites.
