Guests are welcomed in the inviting lobby with a reception desk open 24 hours, safes and a cloakroom. In addition, this luxury hotel comprises a nightclub, shops and a restaurant serving Italian, Asian and seafood specialities.
“ Friendly helpful staff. convenient location - very pleasant grounds and position on the Nile. We chose to upgrade, as the given room was very noisy, and the cost of doing so was on the expensive side. We were very happy there.

“ not really a great location on the west bank you really have to get the ferry across to get to any shops or resrurants bars a few pounds extra gets you a 5 star hotel say the sonesta st george which is far superior the melsala is what it is a 3star nothing more

“ Therapeutic stay. I arrived in Luxor a few days ago. Was picked up at the airport in the Maritim Jolieville courtesy bus and was welcomed back by the driver. I’m not saying he remembered me as it is 4 years since I last visited but it does show the attention to detail this hotel shows to its guests.

“ We enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel. The rooms were spacious, very clean and well equipped. Beds very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets - without asking. Not a 5* hotel as some brochures advertised - some areas 3 and half star, some areas 4*.
