Ali Baba Palace

“ When we arrived we were placed in the adjoining Aladdin Hotel, both hotels were beautiful, rooms cleanliness etc. Unfortunately the food was a let down, cold & tasteless. We both suffered stomach cramps & vomiting within the 48hrs of arriving. The only edible meal was breakfast, which was handy to stock up on bread & cakes for the rest of the day. Staff were pleasant & helpful & the nearby beach was lovely.

“ The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were basic but very spacious and cleaned every day. All areas kept tidy & clean. Great beach but large stones underfoot when going in the sea so advisable to take diving shoes with you! There are 3 restaurants to choose from and you can eat in any of them, which offers more selection as food bit repetitive. Hot dogs, burgers, kebabs available by the pool at lunch, or you can get these plus also pasta, pizza & salad at the beach bar every day. The entertainment team were always around & friendly, although we felt the entertainment programme more geared for children, although there's a late disco each nite for young adults. There is a pub Ali Baba Lounge which is nice, but they have nothing going on in there, except karaoke one night of the week! We had to go out to the marina a couple of nights to make our own entertainment! If you like to mix with other people be aware this hotel is mainly full of Russians, Germans & Polish with English being the minority! Overall a good place for a relaxing week as the pool area lovely.

“ Top Tip: Taxi to the marina worth the trip & about £10 return - plenty of nice bars & restaurants - we had lovely meal at The Lodge & great staff at Papas bar

“ This hotel is ideal for family or the older person, the staff could not be more obliging.
This is our sixth visit to the red sea area and this hotel was the cleanest by far, a beautiful beach very good the only slight thing against it was the food typical Egyption bland and not hot enough. but we would not hesitate to return to the hotel.

“ pool area fantastic. size of pool out of this world even though we have been there several times.and where else can you go ice skatiing in eygpt! at the ali baba wow nothing else i can say.
