The hotel was excellent, facilities are kept in good condition & very clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Food - excellent choice at every meal time, no unpleasant tummy upsets!! Waiters in restaurant were really cheerful, helpful, nothing too much bother for them. Swimming pools very clean, water a bit too cold tho'! Entertainment quite good, disco/nightclub also quite good but very smoky which isnt too pleasant. We were the only 2 English tourists in the hotel, all other guests were German and Russian...but the staff loved to practise their English on us!!
Approx 4-5 min walk to beach.
Overall, we had a great holiday and would definately return to this hotel.

Hotel very clean.
Food of a reasonably high standard, with a lot of options.
The hotel is predominantly German & Russian - very very few British - if this will cause you a problem do not go to this hotel.
“ Top Tip: Snorkelling around house reef is very good.

“ The Hotel staff are really friendly and very helpfull. the food is ok, not the best i've had but we always found something we liked. The beach is really nice and you must see the resorts reef, it's really impressive the variety of fish is amazing and to think it's just a short swim from the resort beach is incredulouse.
“ Top Tip: You can use snorkelling equipment for free, theyre's a hut on the beach, you just need to leave a deposit of 100egp each. Also the resort offers a dine aroud offer which is worth a try for about 10eur you can dine at one of a few a la carte restaurants in the madinat makadi area, we tried the grill which was really good. you can order as much food as you like, but be warned the 10eur does not include drinks. For a bottle of local wine they'll charge 140egp and for an average bottle you'll have to pay about 180egp. But it is worth it, the food is really good. Also if your thinking of buying any snorkelliing or fishing trips, wait untill you hit the beach and buy them from Tiger marine. It's much cheaper you dont have to get a coach to hurghada, you'll be picked up at makadi bay and they're better trips.
