There are good and bad points about this hotel. Firstly the rooms are nice, spacious and well maintained. However, make sure you ask for a pool view as some of the non pool facing rooms can look out over building sites! The swimming pools and gardens are also very nice and well maintained. Most of the staff are also very friendly, especially the guy who looks after the pool area and the people who run the massage hut.
However, what lets the hotel down is the food and the restaurant organisation in general. Like many other comments on this and Tripadvisor, the food is bland, often luke warm.
The bottom line is we only paid £135 per person for seven nights all incusive stay so I can't complain - for that money it is a bargain! If they can sort out the food it would be even better value.
“ Top Tip: Take a trip to El Gouna. Its about 25 minutes in a taxi and is a very different place to Hurghada. Treat yourself to a coffee or drink at the hotel Steinberger Al Dau Beach Resort just across the road from the Pyramisa. Not that hotel is real class. On the negative side of Hurghada, please watch out for taxi drivers who want to rip you off.

Overall the hotel was good, the rooms where very clean and the pools where always being cleaned.
The food was below average, the first 4 days where OK but then its the same thing everyday lunch and dinner just gets a little boring. Breakfast is by far the best eat as much as you can there!!!
If you like Russians then hotel is for you! They where always drunk and rude and don't know the concept of queuing!!

Hard rock cafe was wicked and a steak house next door to it was cheap and cheerful!
Beach was nice too.

“ hotel room great very big, 2 televisions, great balcony bed very hard though, pools brilliant, staff very helpful and well mannererd could not do enough 4 you , animation team worked so hard all day , food was ok not bad , not great probably not enough choice every day but hay-ho your on holiday
“ Top Tip: tip pool staff and your room cleaners they all deserve it
