“ We love staying at this hotel, but there is nothing in the hotel to keep children entertained. Maybe putting in a games room with pool table ect would be good. It's very comfortable and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to shops, resaurants and a bowling alley. You can walk to the beach, it would take you about 15 minutes. We cannot fault this hotel and the locality.
“ Top Tip: We really liked the meshmesha and the spinx resaurant's, they are close by aswell as MC Donalds, pizza hut and KCF. Alcoholic drinks in the 2 resaurants are cheaper than alot of the other resaurants.

“ this hotel in our opinion was fantastic, the rooms could not be any better, the staff at this hotel, is a great asset to the hotel they are so friendly but in a genuine way, and if u have been to hurghada before u will understand what i mean, we have been to hurghada 15 times now and have stayed in quite a few hotels and this for for us was by far the best, in fact i can not praise this hotel high enough, and i will certainly will be back a the sol y mar ivory suites in the near future and will have no hestitation on recommending this hotel to family and friends

“ We both felt this Hotel was an excellent little find. Although the nearest beach is 20 mins walk away if your able bodied then fine, if your not a simple taxi (costing about 10LE, £1 in English) would get you there. The rooms are great in size, large bedroom with safe and the toilet/bathroom is well finished. Very very high standard apartments through out this hotel. The restaurant is small in size however the food offered is again of a good standard. All the staff are very friendly.
“ Top Tip: Because the hotel is relatively knew, 3 years old. Almost all the cabs did not know where Solymar appartments are. Make sure you take your full address in Egyptian writing to help you get back safely
