High standard hotel which has a very friendly atmosphere. (Unusual to find a a
hotel of this size which is independently owned!). Soma Bay is an exclusive peninsula with just a few hotels (one with a diving school) and private villas. 40 mins from Hurghada airport
It sits on a 18 golf course ,which also has a par 3 course, academy and good
practice facilities. Part of the hotel is a health spa with aquatonic pools and all kinds of treatments.
Food was excellent and the service way above average. Staff throughout the hotel are excellent, charming people. We went on two trips out of Hurghada - one
a submarine; the other a day out snorkelling where we also saw the dolphins!
Excellent organisation by the hotel.
Whilst I have ticked suitable for families. it is isolated and therefore young
teenagers would find it too quiet
Beach is 5 mins by their own transport.
One of the most relaxing, enjoyable holidays I have ever had!

Top Tip:
I played golf twice here and also used the practice facilities. Because it is so hot,
you need to play very early or very late and use a cart. Lovely course - part of which runs by the ocean
