Pyramisa Isis Luxor Hotel

“ Loveley hotel, lovely people, nice service.
however, power outages are common place, and if you go to the main outisde street, taxi drivers and salesmen pester you, always say " maybe later", as no is something they do not understand.

“ I would not recommend this hotel.There were many problems .
In the room the toilets did not flush properly .There was a smell of cigarette smoke wafting in thru the ventillation system during the evening and night.
One night in the restaurant there was uncooked chicken and beef sitting in a metal serving container .It was sitting at room temperature ,possibly up to three hours.The staff would not cook it until a guest asked for it.It made me concerned about food hygiene .On our last morning the milk was off and as we were there at 6:00 in the morning it was either out of date or not refrigerated properly.
Some of the staff were friendly and entertained the children.
Unfortunately on our last morning our camera dissapeared from one of our bags.
It was in the reception area while we had a cup of coffee in the hotel restaurant .There were no other guests about as it was so early.
Our transfer arrived and we went to pay our extras bill and discovered the camera missing .We are distruaght abougt losing all our holiday photos .

“ Top Tip: Luxor is'nt like that with the revolution in full swing.Reasonable safe on the streets but you must be careful as the locals are very hungry and pushy.

“ Having stayed in this hotel last year when nothing was too much trouble for the hotel to do for you I found the standards had slipped quite a lot, the hotel is in bad need of a makeover. I know the economy is suffering in Egypt for the problems that have occured in the last two years, but this wont get people to use this hotel, I would not go back there again, but on the reverse side I did go for a meal at the old movenpick hotel and found that fab, so when I next go back to Luxor , and I will, I will be going to that hotel

“ Top Tip: The sights of Luxor speak for themselves,FANTASTIC, so much to see, not much to do, no nightlife, but we knew that before we went, This is my 8th visit to Luxor and I still find amazing sights that I have not seen before
