Badawia Resort

“ I would like to thank everybody from the word Go!!! as this holiday was fantastic, its difficult to find anything to complain about, actually i can't find anything! the accommodation was great. i found everybody so friendly and helpful, first of all the head chef francesco is italian, ie a very proud man, (dedicated) the food was delicious!!! this resort/comlex has two restaurants, because it is a village within its self, perfect for a relaxing break, lots of sunshine and a refreshing breeze, and the entertainment is first class, although it is performed by mirco, fabio, alexandro and colleagues all italians, but the animation speaks for its self, we have never laughed so much in all our lives, my wife laughed untill tears ran down her face, p.s. when you go to the amphitheatre take a cushion from your chair outside your appartment to sit on. dont miss the shows they are great!!! especially mirco he is the most entertaining man i have ever seen!!!!

“ Top Tip: don,t think there is much to do immediatly outside the complex, but trips are available, we were quite contented to stay within, me and my wife are in our early sixtys, and really do enjoy being in the company of other nationalitys especialy italians, all in all probably one of the best holidays we have ever had, fantastic, and sincere thanks to everybody concerned, special thanks to the manager and his staff.

“ the hotel was fantasic and the food was more than acceptable. The staff were very friendly especially heba and mr shams behind the bar and the cleaners that left me beautiful displays with my towls (swans, flowers and crocodiles). The shops are quite good but there is no shop for snacks or treats. there is no need to take egyptian pounds as they price everything in euros. I enjoyed our holiday but it lacked a few things like a tour rep for the english and entertainment for the english lucky for us we werent alone there was another english family there so we made our own entertainment but from what i can guess is that they just dont normally get many english guests. if you snorkel or dive this place is perfect or if you just want to relax. i would go back to badawia but be a bit more prepared.

“ Top Tip: Take euros not egyptian
Go with a company that provide tour reps if its not possible speak to the italian rep she will try and help you
Only one taxi firm on the whole island so be prepared to barter as they do try and overcharge.

“ Hotel very nice, plenty of good food & very friendly staff.
Hotel rooms standard also little house type accomodation within garden area.

Hotel isolated, no real shops ie mini supermarket, if you forgot something wouldn't be able to buy,couldn't even buy a bag of crisps !!!!

Hotel more suited for Italians, outnumbered, also no rep to look after you.

Having said all that we all had a good time with a good sun tan thrown-in
