We were totally unaware of any of the unrest that has carried on in Cario on our trip.
The hotel was brilliant for sun sea and relaxation. The superior room was very nice and staff could not do enough to help. The resturant produced good average food. I suspect because of the problems in Cario, it had effected the deliveries of food. The Al la Carte resturant was only open a few nights where we were allowed one meal at no extra cost as an all inclusive guest. It was so good we went back; they opened for just the two of us!!
Entertainment was hit and miss; again because of the problems in Cario alot of people canncelled their trips. We had approx 80 guests in a 800 guest hotel, so there were expected cut backs.

Top Tip:
We didn't take up any trips but understand from other guests that the boat trip out to see the turkles was well worth doing.
Snorkelling was quite good especially early in the morning. I didn't want to carry my fins because of weight restrictions and did a deal with the dive centre and hired them for a week at £2 per day! Go now and enjoy the quietness of it all!!!

“ We have stayed at The Coraya Beach Hotel three times now and each time has been excellent. It is very clean, food is variable and well prepared, the staff cannot do enough for you. There is some entertainment in the hotel every day but if you are looking for an all singing all dancing holiday then perhaps this is not the place for you. If you just want to chill out and be well looked after then this is definitely the place for you.
“ Top Tip: Staff at Pool bar excellent!

Fantastic from start to finish. On arrival, welcomed with cool damp cloth and cooling non-alcoholic cocktail. Room was huge and spotless with fantastic view over the pools - Bougainvillia everywhere. The food wasnt just a buffet, it was a banquet at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Everyone courteous and friendly. Tips not expected.
However - as all inclusive is now €30 per person a day, you have to down an awful lot of booze, eat a lot of snacks and have loads of laundry.. That's over £28 a day - so for a couple that's an extra £392 a week!!
Sadly the Hotel knows full well it is Number 1 in Marsa Alam and I think it is now getting greedy. Some friends of mine booked months ago, all inclusive at a much more reasonable £13 per day each, which is about right. 30 Euros is a rip-off!
“ Top Tip: The local beach and coral reef are fantastic. If you don't go snorkelling you are missing out.
