An unspoiled, remote area, 250 km south of Hurghada, the location of this hotel is famous for its natural beauty and access to world class pe sites. The resort is situated on two hills, Palm Bay to the north and Laguna Bay to the south, and offers 150 rooms built from natural stone in a traditional style, which compliment the surrounding desert landscape. Each room boast spectacular views, as well as all modern amenities including satellite TV, air-conditioning, minibar and telephone. The hotel also provides 2 swimming pools and activities such as volleyball and beach football.

“ Great hotel but chaotic mix of people on all inclusive, half board and bed and breakfast schemes, leading to much confusion. They probably need a more unified policy.

“ Top Tip: Dinner at the Port Ghalib Intercontinental hotel was pricey but just amazingly spectacular. This has to be one of the world's great restaurant destinations. Scuba diving is among the best in the world - especially on Dolphin Reef, which really was crammed with dolphins on the day we went.
