good diving and hotel building nice but not 5 star.
would not expect to have cocktails served in small juice classes or beer in plastic cups or water glasses in a 5 star hotel have stayed all inclusive in other areas 3 star and had much better service.
“ Top Tip: nothing is close to this resort more isolated than the Maldivian islands i've stayed on

The above score is based upon us buying a 5* All Inclusive holiday that wasn't! No alchoholic drinks whatsoever, with only tea, coffee, Sprite, Coca Cola, Orange Fanta (non no-calorie) and all from a dispenser, plus water from a water cooler available (no bottles or cans of anything)!
Hotel 99% Italians - the 3 of us were the only Brits. All entertainment in Italian, so evenings pretty dull, and there is litterally no-where to go outside the hotel. Food OK, but nothing special and Rameses had his revenge on all of us after 3-4 days with none of us daring to venture far from the loo for the rest of the holiday.
Hotel is only 6 months old, so generally in decent condition - rooms good, and kept clean, decent beds, staff pleasant and helpful, but not speedy. Be prepared to wait. Good taxi service based at the hotel, but no-where to go apart from local dive sites (we were diving). They organised the transfers from and to Marsa Alam airport well and its less than 1/2 hour away so pretty painless.
The 5* rating is presumably based on the range of facilities, not necessarily the quality of them. . There was no information whatsoever in English - not even a sheet of A4 giving meal times and a list of facilities. All a little disappointing.

The beach hotel with 465 deluxe rooms offers numerous services as well as various restaurants and bars. For an additional fee a 24-hour room service is available as well as an Internet cafe and a laundry service. In addition, there is a conference room within this hotel holding up to 200 persons. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a currency exchange desk. Furthermore, there is a games room, a TV room, children's supervision and a kids' club. Arab people need a marriage certificate to share a double room.

This beach hotel is perfect for beach lovers and water babies offers excellent facilities are sure to make it a hit with guests. This luxurious air-conditioning hotel is ideal if the guests want to relax in a fantastic, peaceful area in the sun. Also features a range of modern services such as internet acces and has an excellent 24 h reception desk.
“ Good for relax only, no entertainment boring after 3 to 5 days nothing close to it. No beach, it is close to beach but you can not go to the beach very dangers not allowed only you can sit near the beach but you can not go in to the beach. My advice only take 3 or 5 days, food not good but not bad normal Arab food but anytime food is available, it is 3 star hotel
