“ We stayed in August, the staff had not seen any other Brits since January! All of the entertainment/ food/ kidsclubs/activities etc are geared for the Italians and a few Germans. The rooms are fine, the location very isolated, but we had a good time largely due to diving and snorkling on the fabulous House Reef and Global Divers excusions! If all you want is to sit by the pool or on the beach and chill then its Heaven!
“
Top Tip:
You do feel they are working on their tips! on my last day I had 4 waiters fighting over getting me a cup of coffee.
NB there are no local taxis at the airport only a limousine company who charge £80 return or £50 one way to transport to this hotel and he wouldn't be moved on the price!

“
very nice hotel. Good food- they have great freshly made pizza, cooked in front of you at the beach bar and lots of different food on offer in the restaurant at dinner time. Rooms were kept clean and our towels were made into swans each day which was a nice touch! Friendly staff, although language barrier made it quite difficult at times to ask for things. They are very fluent in italian, though not so good with english. Also, mini bar drinks are not included, in the all inclusive, not even bottled water (which you are charged 2 euros per bottle)
Nice swimming pools and lovely private beach with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas (so you dont need to fight over them!)
Hotel is in the middle of no where, but this is not a problem, as there are lots of things o do at the hotel such as camel and horse riding. Through the hotel, you can book snorkelling, quad biking in the desert (which was great!-defo recommended!) and excursions into the town and to see the pyramids if you wish to (although it is a long drive) The snorkellling is amazing! You get to see thousands of different kinds of tropical fish. The little shops at the hotel were nice to buy souvenirs from. There was a nice jewellery shop on the beach where the man makes the jewellery in front of you, with beads, and you can choose what you would like it to look like. One thing i would say though, is to be careful how much you pay for things in these shops and barter with them, as we were ripped off on a few occasions, with souvenirs that we bought, but didnt realise how cheap you could really get them for until we were at the airport on the way home and saw some of the items we had bought for a 1/4 of the price that we had paid.
The hotel, shops, and excursions accept all kinds of money-eqyptian pounds, british pounds and euros. Overall, very nice family holiday or holiday for a couple. Recommended and would go again, although for longer than a week next time!
“ Top Tip: Go snorkelling and quad biking!!!

“ The hotel itself was OK. Associated with the hotel is a dive center called Global Divers which claims to be PADI affilliated and was a main reason for picking it as my son and I wanted to complete our upgrade from PADI Scuba Divers to PADI Open Water Divers. The dive school took our money, strung us along for the duration of our stay and then refused to do the upgrade. It has subsequently proved not to have been a PADI center since 2006. I was furious but unable to do anything about it.
“ Top Tip: There is a wonderful beach nearby called Abu Dabab for snorkelling and diving. Diving in the area is superb generally. We also found some excellent seafood at a beach restaurant in Quseir, near the port.
