“ We had been due to stay at the Marina Lodge but as this was closed stayed at the Intercontinental Palace in Port Galib. At the begining of the week the service was impecable, however towards the end the service was not very good taking upto 15 mins to be served tea with breakfast. The hotel was not full so this should not have been a problem. The standard of the food was good at the start of the week however this again was not the case toward the end of the week. The rooms are fantastic and the best we have stayed in in Egypt. The hotel grounds and the facilities provided are second to none. The drinks would have been very expensive had we not been on an all inclusive basis

“ It is a lovely hotel which we would recommend to other people. Initially they did put us in a room which we weren't happy with without a view but they moved us to one we were more than happy with after my husband had a word with the staff.
“ Top Tip: As the drinks in the hotel were expensive and we were half board not all inclusive, we went to the happy hour at TGI Fridays which was 1500 hours to 1900 hours, there was also another restaurant around the corner (I can't remember it's name) which did reasonably priced food and a happy hour from 2000 hours to 2200 hours.
