“ A three star resort with five star service! Could do with a 'womans touch', all the staff are men, but in saying that the rooms were very clean and tidy.
“ Top Tip: Dahab, worth a visit, a nice little shopping street by the beach.

“ This place is heaven if what you want is to be away from it all. It is totally silent apart from the waves a few metres away from the bedroom door. It is possible to snorkel from the beach. We hired a car, which gave us access to restaurants and shops in the more built up tourist area, thus getting the best of both worlds. Its a long drive from Sharm and Taba airport would be a much easier journey.
“ Top Tip: We loved the Cleopatra restaurant in the Nuweiba town tourist area (10 miles away).

“ The outlook from the hotel is lovely - right on the beach set in a bay - overlooking Saudi Arabia - however beach is littered with cigeratted buts - broken glass etc but seems to be usual for Egypt- the plumbing at this hotel is really bad - we had mice in our room 2 nights running - I mean so noisy they woke us up and we had to chase them out!! The food is pretty horrid and boring - fish grill - chicken grill - they will cook other things but you have to ask and everything seems to smell - taste the same. The town is a short walk away but is not nice and hardly anything there. The staff are very friendly and the snorkelling is good - small house reef at hotel worth a look. Won't be going back to Egypt in a hurry.
“ Top Tip: St. Catherine's monestary is worth the trip - a good tip - don't - whatever you do - don't take traveller's cheques - we did - on the advise of Thomas Cook - no where would change them - thank goodness we had plastic fantastic or we would have been completely stuck.

“
The hotel was situated very close to the beach but there is nothing around the town to do or see.
We found the food to be ok - if not repetitive. The room cleanliness was good although the rooms are slightly tired. The AC is very good which is a great benefit.
“ Top Tip: Go to Swiss Care hotel for their reef and a change of scenery. Take a taxi from the port not the hotel who charge London cab prices.
