“ This is a fantastic hotel and the staff were also very friendly. The Royal Savoy has a no children facility however the Savoy itself has plenty for kids etc.. We were on our own, so this hotel was perfect for us..
“ Top Tip: If you go to the mandarin bar you can sit outside and order from any of the above resturants. Thai, Indian, Chinisse and local and also the men can wear shorts and sandals..

The Royal Savoy was a perfect escape from reality for my husbands 40th birthday. We had a standard room, which was fantastic, with a four poster bed and plenty of room. The balcony which looked out at the savoy pool was massive. The service throughout our stay was both friendly and efficient. The restaurants in soho square were excellent, for all those special meals out and it's only a five minute walk from the royal savoy!
A special mention is due for the Royal Savoy lounge as the canapes was replenished all day from 12 - 8pm, and the standard was excellent. The staff there are out of this world for service with a smile. The onsite restaurants in the savoy hotel weren't as good, except Seafood Island restaurant, which was delicious. I was disappointed at the quality of the food in the Rosemarino Italian restaurant, being italian, I didn't think it was fresh and authentic at all. I do like my food though, so try for yourself!
If you can afford to go here, go without hesitation! We loved it!
“ Top Tip: The Royal Savoy all the way, best hotel in Sharm!

Good hotel and great staff.
Recent modernisations to pool area include a Jacuzzi and two steam rooms located in wooden sheds. OK now but will get tacky!
The royal Savoy standard for the lounge area has gone down i.e. two years ago choice of canapés and drinks in the evening “happy hour” was extensive and now it’s all a little sad (includes crisps and nuts served in luminescent plastic glasses?
There are plans to completely refurbish the royal club lounge but this work has been ongoing for over a year and no real signs of a finish date. This said the building work is finished so guests shouldn’t be put out or disturbed
Rooms are a little tired and not really the standard that would normally be expected in a 4 / 5 star resort.
On a big plus point the staff are great, Can’t do enough for you. Management: Take note give your staff a chance to excel in what should be a fabulous resort

Top Tip:
Hotel push “S” class or all inclusive but at an excess of $110 per person per night (over the B & B rate) it’s not worth it unless you drink silly amounts of hard liquor.
As a royal Savoy guest all pool side drinks (includes local beer / wine / champagne) are complimentary and at happy hour (6-8) the hard stuff is also at your disposal.
My wife and I stayed for ten days and ate out in Savoy or Soho Square nine nights (owned by Savoy) and spent an average of £65 per night including one per night wine at £28 / bottle.
Soho sq is great but don’t be afraid of Namma bay (Taxi is about £5 each way but haggeling is a must) and if you do go I recommend the camel dive club half way up the main walking promenade for a decent Indian meal

I stayed at the Royal Savoy last month with my girlfriend for a week and we were both truely blown away from the quality of personal service received from the staff, facilities available on site, choice of dining and of course one of the best bedrooms having our very own jacuzzi beside the bed supported with a very modern sleek decor.
One thing heavily recommended when booking this hotel is to definately book the S CLASS ALL INCLUSIVE package otherwise theres no point staying here! Worth paying that bit more extra if your really splashing out to stay in such a top hotel. I never needed to carry my wallet around and out of 14 restaurants to choose from with nearly all alcoholic drinks included (most imported brands), it did actually save us over the 7 days a lot of spending money which instead was used on excursions outside the hotel.
It was the first time I ever went to a nightclub within a hotel and never paid for any alcoholic drinks. We were spoilt for choice over what cuisine to eat every night with Soho Square being ideally located outside the hotel but still being part of the all inclusive package which was great.
With the Royal Savoy section having its own private pools, bars and cabana's on the beach it tended to be much more peaceful and relaxing during the day without having to worry about kids running around shouting, screaming or splashing into the pools. Therefore its an ideal hotel for couples I would say rather then families.
My only disappointment was after having paid all that extra money upfront for the S Class All Inclusive you would think room service food is also included as its still provided within the hotel but unfortunately it was not. Instead you only get 25% discount from your bill when ordering room service with S Class. Thought that did not make any sense. The only reason we odered room service was because my girlfriend fell ill for a few days and was not able to eat out in the restaurants part of our all inclusive so we had no choice but to order the food into the room. Then again if you was not ill, you wouldnt really order room service but still would make sense that it all should be part of the S Class package.
Nevertheless the staff are to be truely praised from management level down to the daily cleaners. Everyone was really efficient, polite, smiling and genuinely gave an interest into you. Always were available to give sound advice and went out of their way to treat you like royalty which really made this hotel stand out from all the others I have stayed at. For that reason I will definately return back just as I know now what level of service is expected.
